The Endura Flap Slidelock is an auxiliary lock for sliding glass doors and windows. It exists for one specific problem: when you install a pet door insert into a sliding door, the door panel often blocks the slider's built-in lock, leaving you without a way to secure the door at night or when you are out. The Slidelock replaces that function.

The lock is made of steel and mounts to the door frame with the included hardware. Most installs take a few minutes. You can mount it at the top of the frame or at the bottom, depending on whether your slider tracks at the top or which configuration is easier to reach.

It is compatible with most aluminum and vinyl sliders and window panels, and with pet door inserts from Endura Flap, Liberty, and other major brands. If you have a pet door installed in a slider and you have been propping a broom handle against the door at night, this is the more permanent fix.
