4. Ordering & Fulfillment

Order Acceptance

Order confirmation does not guarantee acceptance. We may cancel orders due to stock issues, payment errors, or suspected fraud, with full refunds issued within 5 business days to the original payment method.

Payments

Payments are processed securely via Shopify or PayPal. Orders are accepted only upon successful payment.

Shipping

  • U.S. Standard: 3–7 business days.

  • U.S. Expedited: 1–3 business days.

  • International: 7–14 business days, plus customs delays.

  • Risk of Loss: For Amazon orders, risk follows Amazon’s A-to-z Guarantee. For other orders, risk passes upon carrier delivery.

  • Customs: International orders may face delays or import restrictions. You are responsible for taxes, duties, and compliance with local customs rules. Contact your local customs authority.

5. Returns & Refunds

You may return most unused, undamaged products within 30 days of delivery.

Non-Returnable Items

  • Custom-made products.

  • Items significantly damaged by pets or misuse.

  • Note: Minor testing (e.g., temporary installation) does not void eligibility.

Return Process

  1. Request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) at dragon@petdoors.com or (800) 826-2871.

  2. Ship the item within 14 days of RMA issuance, including all parts in original condition.

Refunds

Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 7–10 business days after inspection. Original shipping costs are non-refunded.

Restocking Fee

A 15% restocking fee applies to incomplete or altered returns, disclosed at checkout and in order confirmations.

Transit Damage

Report damage within 7 days of delivery with photos to dragon@petdoors.com. We assist with carrier claims but are not liable for carrier errors. Claims must meet carrier deadlines.

6. Warranty

All products include a 1-Year Limited Warranty for defects in materials or workmanship under normal use, per the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act.

Exclusions

  • Improper Installation: Failure to follow instructions or using incompatible materials (e.g., non-standard doors). See enduraflap.com/install.

  • Pet damage (e.g., chewing, scratching).

  • Weathering, fading, or normal wear-and-tear.

  • Labor or incidental costs.

  • Unauthorized modifications.

Claims

Submit claims to dragon@petdoors.com with proof of purchase and photos/videos. We may request return of the item. We evaluate claims within 10 business days.

Remedies

If approved, we prioritize repair, then replacement, then refund, based on product availability and claim details. Some exclusions may not apply in certain states.

7. Product Use & Safety

Our products are designed for specific installation types and standard use, meeting ASTM F2076 safety standards (certificates available upon request). You are responsible for:

  • Choosing the correct product for your situation.

  • Hiring a qualified installer if needed.

Warnings

  • Misuse: Includes using products on incompatible surfaces, exceeding weight limits, or modifying components.

  • Containment: Our products are not intended as containment systems and do not guarantee pet safety or home security.

We are not liable for injuries, property damage, or product failure due to improper installation or misuse.

8. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

  • Warranties: We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability or fitness only to the extent permitted by state law. In California, implied warranties last up to 4 years for consumer goods (Cal. Civ. Code § 1792).

  • Liability: Our liability for direct damages is limited to the purchase price of the product, except where prohibited (e.g., personal injury, gross negligence). 10. Legal Disputes & Arbitration

Arbitration

All disputes (except intellectual property or small claims under $12,500 in San Luis Obispo County Small Claims Court) must be resolved by individual binding arbitration in San Luis Obispo County, CA, under AAA Consumer Arbitration Rules. Arbitration costs follow AAA rules, which may allow cost-shifting. We cover filing fees for claims under $5,000. You waive the right to a jury trial.

Class Action Waiver

You agree to resolve disputes individually, not as part of a class action, to the extent permitted by law.

11. Chat & Call Recording

We may record calls and chats for quality, training, and fraud prevention, per California’s two-party consent law (Cal. Penal Code § 632).
