Which direction does this slide in from?

The locking cover slides in from the top. Currently, there are no custom options to change which direction the locking cover slides in from.

Each locking cover has a clip latch lock to secure it in place, preventing your dog from nosing it off your door.

What is ABS plastic?

It is a hard plastic material that is difficult to break through while still being soft enough to prevent injuries for your dog. It’s the same material used in Legos.

How do I know what size to get?

You need to order the size that corresponds to the size of your pet door flap. For example, if you ordered a small Endura Flap pet door, you should order the locking cover in the size small.

I want to install my pet door under a window, but the frame of the window will prevent me from using the locking cover.

You can build up the wall under the pet door so the locking cover will slide past the window frame. Another option is to trim the sides of the locking cover enough to slip the locking cover into place then slide down as shown in the photo:
