Supporting the animal lovers of tomorrow 

DragonPetDoor.com is dedicated to supporting all those who want to help animals everywhere by helping them earn the education they deserve. 

This year, DragonPetDoor.com will award a $1,000 scholarship to a student in pursuit of veterinary studies, animal sciences, or other animal-related school of study at any Californian university.

REQUIREMENTS

To be considered for a DragonPetDoor.com Scholarship, you must:

• Be a US-based high school senior or college student who will be studying in California university or four-year college in the 2022-2023 school year.
• Plan to pursue a bachelor's degree in biology, animal science, veterinary technology, or other animal-based sciences (ie: equestrian science)
• Demonstrate a passion for animals.
• Demonstrate initiative and leadership at school or in the community.
• Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.

HOW TO APPLY

To apply for the DragonPetDoor.com scholarship, submit your application by email by August 31, 2022 with the following items: 

• A 500 word max essay about your passion for animals and what being an animal lover means to you (formatted in PDF) 
• A copy of your current academic transcript (official or unofficial copies will both be accepted; must be in PDF)
• Your student ID number and email
• A picture of yourself with an animal (can be a pet, an animal at a zoo, wildlife, etc)

All applications must be submitted by email to scholarship@petdoors.com. The winner will be contacted by email by September 16, 2022.
